50-Level Undo
Every edit is recoverable. A deep-copy undo stack preserves full song state so you can experiment freely.
Deep State Snapshots
Before every mutation, Potatoslicer captures a complete deep copy of your song data — patterns, instruments, settings, everything. Undo restores the entire snapshot.
- - 50-level undo stack — enough for extended editing sessions
- - Each snapshot captures all patterns, instruments, and song settings
- - Deep copies prevent references from leaking between undo states
- - Stack is managed automatically — oldest entries drop when full
Two Ways to Undo
Use the keyboard shortcut or click the dedicated button in the transport bar. The UNDO button lights up amber when undo history is available.
- - Ctrl+Z — standard keyboard shortcut
- - UNDO button in the transport bar — amber when undo is available
- - Works with note entry, instrument changes, pattern edits, and more
- - Pairs with the dirty-state tracker — unsaved changes are always visible
